A mixture of Liebe (love) and Kummer (despair, sorrow) that is the mind-set of men and women whose relationship just isn’t heading better, particularly the sorrow noticed by jilted fans.

The succinct name of the book, Moselfahrt aus Liebeskummer, is difficult to change gracefully–the exact meaning are “Moselle lake travels due to Liebeskummer”. Its a novella, printed in the 30s, describing a-trip alongside and on the Mosel (Moselle) river where the narrator attempts to over come his Liebeskummer. It has warm explanations associated with river, the villages that line they, together with those who expand drink there–I lived in these types of communities once I went to basic school.
Upon rereading passages of it, however, i have to admit that name is probably the good thing associated with the guide!
